Our history
1999
FLOWTEX Servicios Urbanos S.A. is established, becoming a pioneer in the application of Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) to the installation of urban service networks.
1999
2000
The company solidifies its presence in Mercosur by introducing advanced equipment, enabling the launch of its Large Crossings Division. These technological innovations position FLOWTEX HDD as a leader in the industry.

2002
FLOWTEX HDD expands its operations, completing significant projects in Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, and Colombia. The company sets a milestone with its longest project: a 1,600-meter tunnel under the Uruguay River.

Responding to growing demand from the energy sector, the company shifts its focus to large-scale crossings using HDD technology whilst integrating the first compact HDD rig into its operations.

Flowtex HDD begins using next-generation River Crossing facilities, successfully managing and executing large-scale projects.

The company pioneers fluid heating systems during crossings of the Santa Cruz and Grande Rivers in Tierra del Fuego.

Flowtex installs over 15,000 meters of 30" pipelines for various gas pipeline projects. Notable achievements include deep rock crossings under the Neuquén River from the El Mangrullo field for Petrobras and YPF.

The company completes landmark projects, including 4,000-meters of watercourse crossing in the Jaaukanigás wetland in Santa Fe and the reinstallation of the Metrogas 24" pipeline under Av. Madero in Buenos Aires, overcoming complex interferences with bidirectional steering.

Flowtex introduces a new compact, high-productivity drilling rig equipped with an integrated fluid management system.
